"Sophie and Abby"
One of a Kind
A proud mother, Sophie cradles her baby girl, little Abby.
This is a One of a Kind collaboration between myself,
and Jeannette Bashore or JRB Bears.
"Sophie" is 14" tall.
I used a curly matted white mohair.
Her paw pads are ultrasuede.
For her pretty face, I gave her a pink perle cotton nose. Then I added hand-blown glass eyes with white accents and shading.
I carefully sculpted, shaded and trimmed her face for a soulful expression.
She is fully jointed and ready to pose.
I have filled her with premium polyfil.
She comes with her wooden based stand.
"Sophie" is wearing a beautiful print cotton dress with matching pantaloons.
I used a hand crocheted collar to make the perfect little jacket to match the dress.
Her hat is wool felt trimmed with florals in pink, blue and green.
She comes signed on her paw pad.
For authenticity, she wears a laminated hang tag listing her details.
In her arms, Sophie is holding "Abby".
"Abby" is completed hand-sewn by Jeannette Bashore.
She used a pink ratinee mohair with a white alpaca inset face.
Little Abby is 5 way jointed and filled with polyfil and a pillow of steel shot for weight.
Abby comes with her own signed hang tag.
We created this OOAK collaboration in honor of Mother's Day.
It is my wish that "Sophie and Abby" bring a smile to your face everytime you
see them displayed in your home.
