She
is a unique teddy unlike I have created before. This
is my first time using ultra short mohair. I love
the worn-torn look!
She
appears to be patiently waiting for a big hug from
you!
“Raggy
Maggie” is only 8” tall.
Her
paw pads are the same ultra short mohair.
For
her winsome face, I stitched a perle cotton nose,
then added hand-blown glass eyes from Germany. The
white accent under the eyes and the subtle shading
give her a soulful expression. After carefully trimming
and sculpting her facial details, I blushed and shaded
her face.
She
is fully-jointed and ready to pose. I have given her
a wobble jointed neck!
She
is filled with my combination of polyfil and pellets
with a helping of steel shot for weight.
For
her worn-torn look, I appliqued a pretty floral blue
patch with a “mending” stitch.
Then I randomly added more “mending” stitches
to her body.
A
corsage of flocked velvet flowers and a full bow of
silk ribbon accent her neck.
She
will arrive signed on her paw pad.
A
hang tag compete with her details is included.
