"Naomi"
One of a Kind
I would like to introduce my newest creation, "Naomi".
This darling 8" teddy is the first of a series of four.
"Naomi" is dressed in her Sunday best. She is wearing a lace jacket, a wool felt hat a matching handbag.
I created her from a sparse curly mohair in a honey champagne color.
Her shaded paw pads are ultrasuede.
For her sweet face, I stitched a warm brown perle cotton nose.
Then I added hand-blown glass eyes.
I carefully trimmed, sculpted and shaded her facial expression.
She is fully jointed and ready to pose.
I have filled her with polyfil and pellets for a nice weight and feel.
Her hat is 100% wool felt. I trimmed it with ribbon, roses, and feather plumes.
She wears a lace jacket with trim.
Her handbag is actually a little treasure box in the shape of a purse.
For authenticity, she wears a laminated hang tag listing her details.
She is signed on her paw pad.
It is my wish that "Naomi" makes you smile every time you see her displayed in your home.
She is created by myself, with my own patterns, in my smoke-free home in the country.
