“Gingerbread Man”

Open edition 2008

This “yummy” little 8” fella will be perfect to display for the holiday season!

I created him from straight mohair in a gingerbread color. 

His paw pads are ultra suede.

For his darling face, I stitched him a black perle cotton nose.

Then I added hand-blown glass eyes with an expressive white accent.

I carefully trimmed, sculpted and shaded his facial features.

He is fully jointed and ready to pose!

I have filled him with my combination of polyfil and pellets.

Around his paw pads, I tediously stitched white rick rack for “icing”.

Sparkly gumdrop buttons and a full festive bow complete his look.

I added a peppermint swirl lollypop to his hand.

 

“Gingerbread Man” comes signed on his paw pad.

For authenticity, he wears a dated hang tag listing his details.

I created “Gingerbread Man” with loving care and great attention to detail.

It is my wish that he makes you smile every time you see him!
