“Driving Miss Daisy”

One of a kind piece

This spectacular piece was my gallery piece for the TBAI show.

When I found out that I wasn’t going to be able to attend,

I wanted to offer it to my collectors.

The theme of the piece is “Driving Miss Daisy”.

I put a childlike spin on the theme by having

“Hoke” drive “Miss Daisy” around on his new tricycle!

They are off to the “Piggley Wiggley”!

The height of the piece is 18” tall.

“Hoke”

I created “Hoke” from a curly mohair that is an antique brown

in color tipped in black.

He has a bent arm and leg design to fit his tricycle.

For his adorable face, I stitched a perle cotton nose.

I added hand-blown glass eyes that shine.

I carefully trimmed and sculpted his facial details.

An Open mouth design makes “Hoke” appear to be

laughing and having a great time!

He is fully-jointed and already posed in place.

He is secured to the tricycle with a Velcro piece on his bottom .

I stitched “Hoke” a cotton vest and chauffeur’s hat.

“Miss Daisy”

“Miss Daisy” is holding on tight as they are riding quite fast!

I created her from a blonde curly mohair that is tipped in brown.

She has a bent arm and straight leg design.

For her adorable face, I stitched a perle cotton nose.

I added hand-blown glass eyes that shine.

I carefully trimmed and sculpted her facial details.

An Open mouth design makes “Miss Daisy” appear to be

giggleing and excited!

She is fully-jointed and already posed in place.

She is secured to the “Hoke” with stitching on her paws..

“Miss Daisy” looks pretty is her cotton dress

full of white daisies with yellow centers.

I used a white cotton for the bodice and sleeve cuffs.

A pretty matching hair bow tops her head.

They ride a red Roadmaster tricycle.

This ONE OF A KIND piece would be a fantastic asset to your collection.

It is very detailed and comes signed and dated.

A laminated hang tag with details also accompanies the piece.
